About Fiona

Experience that makes a difference

Behind every conversation, workshop and strategy is more than two decades of experience working alongside children, families, therapists, commissioners and public sector leaders.

I'm an Occupational Therapist by background, but my career has taken me far beyond clinical practice. I've worked across NHS, Local Authority and voluntary sector services, supporting organisations to improve outcomes for children and families while navigating increasingly complex systems.

Over the last 10+ years, I've specialised in commissioning, market development and service transformation, working with providers, commissioners and senior leaders to design services that are relevant, sustainable and centred around the people they support.

Alongside my professional experience, my personal journey as a charity founder, foster carer and parent of a child with complex needs has given me a deep understanding of the realities that values-led organisations face every day. I know what it feels like to balance purpose with limited time, funding and capacity.

That's why FL Collaborative Consulting isn't about generic business advice or corporate jargon. It's about helping organisations communicate their value clearly, understand what commissioners are looking for and build sustainable services without losing sight of why they started.
